Jira query for time to resolution

Hi team,

I am looking for a query/filter in Jira to prompt the ticket which:

Created <= 7 days AND status changed from "Open" to ("Resolved","Closed") AFTER "24h"

Please, is the above one possible using the default Jira filter capable to return it? Or a extension or additional tool is required?

As I understand you are looking for a report which lists issues that stayed in open statuses more than 24 hours. As far as I know it is not possible with the built-in JQL capabilities.

As an alternative, you can try Status Time app developed by our team. It provides reports on how much time passed in each status. So that you can get a list of issues along with their "time to resolution" columns.

Once you enter your working calendar into the app, it takes your working schedule into account too. That is, "In Progress" time of an issue opened on Friday at 5 PM and closed on Monday at 9 AM, will be a few hours rather than 3 days. It has various other reports like assignee time, status entry dates, average/sum reports by any field(eg. average in progress time by project, average cycle time by issue creation month). And all these are available as gadgets on the dashboard too.
