How to assign subtask to parent assignee through REST API

Question

Hi ,

I can create the subtask through API in Jira .

is there any way we can assign the subtask to same assignee as to whom parent issue assigned ?

( copy assignee from parent to subtask through rest API )

Thanks for you reply .but seems I do not have access to page that you shared

showing below error .

"You don't have sufficient privileges to view this page."
