Enabling Inline edit for single custom field

Hi ,

Is there a way to enable inline editing for a single custom field , please let me know if there is a possibility

Inline edit is a global setting, on or off (for all fields)

If you only want that field to be editable, you need to either set all the fields to read-only in the field configuration or use a plug in to set the behavior while on a specific screen.

If you added a custom field and it is not editable in line, make sure you add it the Edit screen. The view screen is what you normally see, but if you want to edit in line, the field needs to be on the Edit screen also. These are in the screen scheme.

We have disabled Inline edit globally,
But want to enable for particular custom field ,is that possible ?
