When an item is created for a team member, I'd like to have an email sent to the team member's manager with the details of the ticket. How can I accomplish that? Thank you!
You could consider using automation. Add the manager will be assignee as a watcher or simply send them an email to notify. The challenge with this is just gonna be hardcoded you have to set that up for every assignee there is nothing to do the association of employee to manager natively.
