When a ticket is resolved with resolution as'Workaround' the 'Ready for Testing' button changes done

When a ticket is resolved with resolution as 'Workaround', the 'Ready for Testing' button changes the resolution to 'Done'

 

Steps to Reproduce.

1. For an Internal Defect in Open State, Resolve the ticket with a reason as 'Workaround'
2. Click on the 'Ready for Testing' button.

Note: This may happen for other ticket types as well if any of them have 'Workaround' as the Resolution.

 

Actual:

The Resolution changes to 'Done'

 

Expected:

The Resolution should stay as 'Workaround'

Hi @abbas baman , you need to check used workflow and its transition Ready for Testing. It probably sets resolution to Done in its postfunctions (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-advanced-issue-workflows/#Advancedworkflowconfiguration-postfunctions)
