How to trigger jenkins jobs(jenkins file setup) based on pull request(Atlassian Bitbucket v6.6.3)

HI Team,

I am using  Atlassian Bitbucket v6.6.3 tool and i need to trigger jenkins job based on pull request. Can you please help in setting up this.

When i create pull request from Dev to SIT branch pull request changes should  validate it against SIT environment. Basically i should get the target branch details in jenkins file so that i can use environment variable for validation in jenkins file

Earlier we tried with hooks but that is not working now.
