issuetype = "Convert Logo" OR issuetype = logo AND assignee = currentUser() AND status in (Open, "In Progress", Reopened) AND status not in (Complete) ORDER BY summary ASC

Tasks with the status Complete are still displaying.

you use 2 times status field. Please try this jql:

issuetype in ("Convert Logo","logo") AND assignee = currentUser() AND status in (Open, "In Progress", Reopened) ORDER BY summary ASC

it should automatically exclude issues in Complete status

I had originally used:

issuetype = "Convert Logo" OR issuetype = logo AND assignee = currentUser() AND status in (Open, "In Progress", Reopened) ORDER BY summary ASC

...with no success. That's when I tried explicitly telling to not include Complete.

Well, the error in your original query wasn't to use twice the status field but not putting the "OR" expression in brackets.

(issuetype = "Convert Logo" OR issuetype = logo) AND assignee = currentUser() AND status in (Open, "In Progress", Reopened) AND status not in (Complete) ORDER BY summary ASC

However, Michal query looks much nicer still smile
