Add new values to a Jira custom field from Confluence page

Hi all!

I have a task to dynamiclly add new values to a custom field in Jira. Values should be taken from a Confluence page. How can I achieve this? 

I have a ScriptRunner for Jira and for Confluence. I use JIRA Server but wasn't able to pick such option during question creation.

Hi Ksenia,

You can use this script (Link to Confluence From Jira) to send REST requests from Jira to Confluence without the need to handle authentication.

To get a Confluence page, you can send a GET request to the following endpoint: /rest/api/content

As to dynamically updating the custom field value, there are various ways you can do this with ScriptRunner for Jira either with custom post-function, listeners, and more. There are various examples online.
