Hide restricted comments in screen sharing

Hi everyone,

is there a way to hide all comments which are restricted?

e.g. when you are presenting your screen in a meeting with the client I don't want the client to see all the restricted comments with internal remarky, but only those which can be seen by all users.

Since there's still no solution in 2024, I created a browser extension (for Chrome and Firefox), which adds a button to the activity feed of every issue page in the Jira cloud to let you toggle the visibility of restricted comments.

Respectfully, there is an obvious need for a view that allows an internal user to present to external users (customers) without showing internal comments.  One use case is ticket review meetings.  I have these weekly, bi-weekly and monthly with my customers and present my screen as we go over the tickets.  As much as I try to not show internal comments within the portion of the screen that is visible, it happens since internal comments cannot be hidden while I am scrolling to another portion of the ticket.

Ideally, there would be a toggle to Hide Internal Comments.  In addition to presenting and discussing with customers, this would be helpful to print to PDF to share a ticket for different reasons, such as an old closed ticket.

Alternatively, although I'm willing to create a whole new view for such frequent situations, there doesn't appear to be a way to do that.  I may be missing that possible, but I'll research again for that capability.

I struggle to see this as a common requirement tbh - Jira's a ticketing tool, if you're showing someone a ticket on a screen, they're probably fine to see the comments also...

If it's super sensitive don't show them the ticket, or copy/paste the image into a slide and block the sensitive element. There's apps which stick big black rectangles on top of sections of the screen also I'm told by google.
