Why I cannot see other people in Jira?

Question

I have invited 7 of my office mates but most of them does not receive the email. I can only see 3 of them in the dropdown list of assignee but how come I cannot see them in the people page? I am also unable to make a team because they wont show up :-(

Hi ,

If you have Project Admin right ,

Please check the permission scheme.

1. Browse Project Permission

2. Assignable user permission.

if all the 7 members in the above,  then you can able to assign issues in drop down.

They would show up in the Team once they sign-up.

Can you ask them to check the spam/junk folder for emails?

This works for both free and standard plans:

* Click on a cog icon in the top right corner and there from a drop-down menu select User management
* Verify that all 7 users are present in a list.
* From there, you can click on each individual user and check permissions (sliders Access to the site and Jira Software should be both green).
* While you are in a user profile, check the 'Groups' section located at the bottom of the user's profile. By default, all users should be in the group called jira-software-users to be able to use Jira Software.

You can also try to debug each user by going to:

* Cog icon, in a drop-down menu, select System
* In the left side-menu search for Permission helper
* There you can select user and action, the system will tell you if that user is able to interact with the desired issue and if not - why not and how to fix that.
