Hello,

we had a server crash on our JIRA Server, since we want to move to JIRA cloud, will it be possible to restore the data from our SQL Server backup?

so we have to restore the backup to local JIRA Server first, correct?

Yes, and then you can start your migration with the restored instance as your source.
