jira server 8.4.2 can not send mail to us when issue upade ,the Notification Scheme can not work anymore , and the mail server test sending mail well ,please give me a hit?
if I upgrade to 8.8.0, can i solve the problem ?
Unless you know what the problem is, there is no way to know where an upgrade might land on the scale of "make it a lot worse -> fixes this and makes loads of other stuff better"
I would start with a look at the application logs - what does <jira home>/logs/atlassian-jira.log say when you try to send a test email?
