Convert JQL to Oracle DB Query

Hi Team,

 

Need help to write oracle query where it displays list of issues from specific project with specific issue type and custom field value.

JQL Example: 

project = "Project Name" AND (Milestone = YES or issuetype =EPIC) Order BY summary ASC, rank

Milestone is custom field.

Please help me with Oracle query.

The database behind Jira is not designed or intended for reporting.

The SQL you need to run construct if you want to get the same list of issues a particular JQL query returns is torturous and slow, and it's rare that someone gets it right.

In your case, you'll need to join the main issue type to at least five other tables.

I would strongly recommend doing this properly - feed the JQL to a REST query or use a reporting tool that understands the database for you.

What problem are you trying to solve here?
