a question about "Due Date Indicator" app

We installed the "Due Date Indicator" plug-in and defined a custom field for this type, but the custom field does not display the content when we create a new issue with "due date", and we have to change the due date then the custom field displays the value.

can you please give some suggestions? thanks in advance.
