Cannot connect to MSSQL database after deleting ldf file

Hello,

we have the problem that we deleted the MSSQL ldf-files of Jira. We were able to create new ldf-files but Jira cannot still not connect to the database (error message in the screenshot)

I already checked the dbconfig.xml and there are still the right settings. I am also able to login to the database directly with the user and our firewall has also rules to allow the ports for the connection.

In the atlassian-log file i get the same error as in the Web UI

What setting am I missing? I don't get why I get this error.

This error really is what it says it is - Jira is unable to connect to your database with the credentials you have given it.

Can you log into the database directly *from the Jira server*?  Or are you checking that with a different machine?
