not sure why I am getting this or how to fix it. any suggestions?

What exactly are you trying to do when you get the error?
My first thought, though, is that you are trying to create a transition from one Done status type to another Done status type. That would not make any sense. Your QA Complete status should probably be an In Progress type status (blue color) and not a Done type status (green color).
Thank you. That made sense. I adjusted it but still getting the same. I am updating workflow.
