Trying to create tickets from confluence, ( taking long time to create ticket)

Question

When i try to create a ticket from confluence, after i select any text and click "Create"

shows "Getting required fields..." and take 15 min to get the field for creating the ticket.

any suggestions where to start root cause analysis ?

I see Atlassian identified this as a bug and fixed it with release of Confluence 7.12:

[CONFSERVER-59691] JavaScript `Syntax error, unrecognized expression: option[value='-1'` when creating Jira issue - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

We will upgrade and hopefully all will be fine.

Thanks for the reply.  We are running some pretty new versions in Confluence and Jira, so I am not sure why it is coming up now.

From what i remember after the upgrade of jira and few tweaks later it was resolved.
( didnt find the core error)
