Multiple acive sprints from a single Project

Question

Hello, I've seen variations of this question, but the answers given don't seem to work for me.  We have 3 scrum teams working from the same backlog, and I'd like to have a single project with multiple planning boards and active sprints.

You need to enable the parallel sprints option for your JIRA instance. Refer to

Thanks, I've done this, and I can create sprints, but I can only have one active sprint going for the project... How do I get around that?

Please try this

1. Create filters for each of the project/team combination.

2. Create a new board each of the project/team combination

3. While creating new boards you can use the respective filter

4. Start creating the sprints in the respective project/team board
