We are trialing Jira ServiceDesk on a Server. We need to be able to start JIRA without an interactive logon account. Please advise how we can configure this.

When you installed it, you were asked if you wanted to install it as a service. If you said yes, it would have done this for you.
If you said no, and now want to do it, you will need to do it by hand. Consult your operating system's documentation on how to create a new service (it just needs to run the startup script for Jira, so it should not be too complex)
