Jira Server and Git - Auto transitioning multiple Jira issues based on Merged pull request

Question

Hey All,

I found that Jira and GitHub support Workflow Automation Triggers 
We currently have one pull request which corresponds to couple of tickets inside Jira. Is it possible to set an automation trigger for transitioning all related issues (not only a single one), from status A to status B, once pull request gets merged?

I may be wrong, but the article you linked is from several years ago. These days, that legacy automation feature was replaced with the Automation for Jira app.
