i want to upgrade jira from 71.2 to 8.11.a license bought permanently, you can guide how i upgrade to jira 8.11. need preparation to upgrade, thanks

Hi @Thuong NguyenVan

* Look at the Update requirement, so you're sure of what changes or system requirements are need
* Follow the Preparing for Upgrade steps
* If you have any add-ons, disable that first before upgrade, then enable after upgrade is done
* Prepare a backup copy of your Installation directory and your Jira Home directory
* Backup your Database as well
* Download the New version and place in a different directory (or the same, your choice)
* Connect JAVA_HOME to the new Installation directory
* Install the new version and set up the service. If on windows x64, you might want to ensure that use tomcat64.exe version before running the service.bat file
* startup Jira again.
