Old Tasks are tagged with Current sprint even though they are done

Question

When i filter the issues with my project and status as Done i.e see below query

project = xxx AND status = Done AND Sprint = 123 ORDER BY created DESC

I am getting the the Sub-Tasks, Stories and Bugs which were closed in the last 2 -3 sprints (Not all but few of them) and they are carried forward to every sprint when we end the old sprint and Start the new one.

Any suggestions or solutions will be appreciated.

Sorry if my answer was unclear. For an issue to be considered done when a sprint is completed it MUST be in the far right most column in your scrum board. Also, ALL sub-tasks of a story must be done (far right column) for th story to be considered complete.

This is not helping,

Say, i completed my old sprint on Aug 20, with Story moving to Done and Few defects also moved to Done.

On Aug 21st i Started my new sprint with new stories and defects.

I am observing the Sub tasks and few defects which were moved to Done state in the sprint ended on Aug 20 were displayed in the filter which suppose to filter the things completed in Sprint started on Aug 21st.

Please verify that "Done" status is in fact mapped to your far right column on the board. Also ensure there is a Resolution set for each issue that is "Done".
