Can I integrate Jira Software Data Center with Bitbucket Server?

abby_av2url

Hello,

Can I link a Jira Software Data Center with a Bitbucket Server? Do I need to upgrade the Bitbucket Server to Data Center to integrate them?

Thank you.

Hi @abby

You can integrate both the application Jira Software Data Center with a Bitbucket Server, before linking please verify the below.

• Check the Base URL for Bitbucket Server is set correctly.
• If you want to use SSL, you need to use a valid certificate (not a self-signed certificate).

Steps to link:

1. Click Application Links (under 'Settings') in the Bitbucket Server admin area.
2. Enter the URL for the JIRA Software instance you want to link to and click Create new link.
3. Complete the application link wizard to connect Bitbucket Server to your JIRA Software server. You must make use of the automatic link-back from JIRA Software to Bitbucket Server to get full integration (you'll need system administrator global permission for that).

Thanks,
Manisha
