To Recreate:
- Confirm Jira and Confluence is already linked (we have been using this in Cloud for more than a year now)
- Confirm your new Confluence page eixsts (e.g. "Survey Whiteboard")
- From existing Jira issue, click Link Confluence Page (drop down from Link Issue)
- Search for your new page ("Survey Whiteboard")
- Note that type-ahead does not find it, and hitting enter will yield this error: "You don't have an application link set up for that Confluence site."
We've confirmed the order of events above - and made sure to refresh the Jira page to try and pickup and last minute sync.
It seems there is either a synchronizing lag, or something needs to push from Confluence to Jira when a new Confluence page is created.
Here's the funny thing: If we add the Jira ticket to the confluence page, the link then appears in the Jira issue, and it shows up in other tickets inline search / type-ahead. So we know that something is being updated, but only when we link the issue from Confluence.
