Issues with two Macro - 1 . Excel Macro , 1. Leave calendar macro

1. Excel macro is non functional , I remember 5 to 6 years back it used to work fine . The issue is that the Excel is not rendered in the page properly and that implies with even the simplified ones .

2. I could not find calendar macro . It used to exist long back .

As I understand, you are coming back to Confluence after about 5 years and some macros do not behave or are not present as before.

Let us start by looking at your first question:

1. Excel macro is non functional , I remember 5 to 6 years back it used to work fine . The issue is that the Excel is not rendered in the page properly and that implies with even the simplified ones .

Some questions about your situation:

1. Is this happening in all pages where you placed the macro?
2. Is this happening regardless of the browser used?

Moving into our documentation, there is a statement in the Excel Macro page that says the following:

A note on the Excel macro

We've received feedback that the Excel macro doesn't meet expectations in some cases. There are some known issues with it right now, which are detailed below. So why are we proceeding with the rollout? We're making infrastructure changes for the overall benefit of Confluence users, but they mean that we can't keep the old Office and PDF macros working much longer. We need to proceed with the rollout so we can move forward with the infrastructure changes that have a much wider impact than this macro.

In saying that, we, of course, genuinely care about every user's experience with Confluence, and always want it to be the best. If you're having real trouble with the new file viewer in the Excel macro, comment on this issue and let us know. There unfortunately isn't a short-term fix, as we do need to move off the old Excel macro, but we'll keep working on a better solution for the Excel macro.

Now, looking at your second topic, I believe that you are talking about the Team Calendars plugin.

Team Calendars is a first-party (Atlassian made) plugin for Confluence Cloud and Server. You can check more information about the plugin here:

It is really likely that your Confluence site does not have the plugin installed, which would explain calendars not being available.
