JiraLockedError

Question

Hello,

we tried to upgrade our JIRA Version from 5.0.5 to the actual Version 7.1.2.

When we start the JIRA web interface theres the JIRALockedError.

We've already deleted the .bundled-plugins and the .osgi-plugins folders and the work folder and the .jira-home.lock file. But if we start the web interface there is still the Error Screen.

I hope you guys can help us.

I'm afraid that's an error with one part of the system, and it's not one that would lock it.

Look through the log for "JIRA is locked" and look at the errors occurring before that - one of them should tell us something (possibly with the words critical or fatal)

Sorry, not Tomcat (although we would have probably asked for that as well in many cases), the application log file.  Atlassian-jira.log in the log directory in jira-home
