Can I enter a link in the description of a field and that points to a file within my server?

Hello everyone,

I would like to add a link to the description of a custom field that allows the user to click download a document with help, I would like to leave the download document within the server itself, but when establishing the document path I see that it is given to me concatenates after the server url, how can I make the url point directly to the document to download it?

You will need to be serving the file up on a web server, such that it has a valid download url.
