On Workflow user has made transition in reverse

Hi All,

Currently in workflow user has to do transition from A to B. But, user had made a Reverse transition without having a REVERSE Transition in workflow. Client has questioned how come it's possible to do it without adding a reverse transition from B to A. Attached screenshot for your reference.

Can someone pls let me know Urgently how the user has made Reverse Transition? Your help would much appreciated.

Can you find which user performed this action in activity --> transition?

Is it possible that the workflow was temporarily added with REVERSE Transition, and then deleted this transition by sysadmin?

By the way, can this problem be reproduced now?

We found the exact user.

2) Is it possible that the workflow was temporarily added with REVERSE Transition, and then deleted this transition by sysadmin? -

This can only be done by JIRA ADMIN/ SYS ADMIN but, we haven't done/added REVERSE Transition temporarily. Also user(s) or Project Admins don't have the permissions to edit the Workflow. Not sure how it has happened without adding anything from JIRA ADMIN end.

3) By the way, can this problem be reproduced now? -

The problem should be here: allow all transitions.

Please adjust the configuration as you needed.

Ok, Understood in this case if i don't want to make REVERSE Transition from B to A then do i need to Add a CONDITION for ALL Transition selecting the condition as per the screenshot attached below. In that whatever the STATUSES we don't want to make reverse transition do we need to check the box?

Please let me know the right direction to get this issue resolved.

Does it still happen? Do you have any post-functions on the transition that might send the issue back to the previous status? Please check the list of post-functions on the transition from A to B.
