I want to create an automation based on the time a task has been in certain column

Hi,

I want to send a message to the channel once a task has been in a column for more than 3 days. I know there is a field called [Chart] Time In Status that is displayed in the card, but how can I access that field to make a comparison in my condition? 

The condition I want is if [Chart]Time in Status > 3

Then  send message to slack and message to assignee.

Hi Jorge,

in jql you can check whether a status has changed.

For your case you probably want something like this:

project = "your project"

AND NOT status CHANGED AFTER startOfDay(-3d)

AND created < startOfDay(-3d)

That gives you all issues which were not moved to another status within the last 3 days. You also need to exclude all issues that were created during the last three days since they haven't moved either.
