All open tickets on a specific day in a graphic

Hi, I'd like to see a graph which shows all open tickets on a specific day - not only those who where changed on a particular day:

status != closes shows only those Tickets that are not closed and changed on that day in the graphic, but not all.

How can I change that?

Hi Patrick, I’m a bit confused by your request. You mention graph but also a specific day. Are you looking for a graph with daily granularity or are you simply wanting to know the number of issues open on a specific day. 

here are some options to consider

1. use the Created vs Resolved gadget on a dashboard. This does a good job of illustrating team progress in keeping up with the incoming issues
2. If you just want to see the number of open issues daily then create a filter like this - project = abc and statuscategory!= done. Set up a daily subscription to email you
3. consider using excel to produce different charts using the Jira extension for excel
