Hi I was wondering how others have structured there CMDB in insight.I'm just playing around still but it seems that it needs to be structured differently to other CMDBs I've used in the past. I was attempting to have it like the below but the parent object can't see the children so not sure if this is the best way.

Have you tried option "Inheritance configuration" yet? (From parent object > Object Type > Configure >Inheritance)
No I just got that info the other day. I will try that now but was more wondering how people have set it up. i.e is software its own category or subcategory of computers, do you have licensing information contained within etc
