Why won't an edited page publish properly?

I just converted to the new page editor and when I edit a page and publish it, it reverts back to the old page. When I click edit, I see my changes, but they don't publish correctly. Is this a known bug?

After publishing the page in the new editor, you must click the home button and go back to the space you have edited from to see the true edited page. Extra steps that aren't necessary!
