If users add favorite dashboard and not add system dashboard to favorit, they will not see dashboard.

Hello,if users add other dashboard to Favorites and not add system dashboard to Favorits, they will not see dashboard.

Is there any way to solve this problem？Or how to make this introduction on the top of all dashboards。I just want to put some system messages that everyone needs to know, but I don't need them to do something manually.

  Thank you too much！

As you have observed once a user has selected a dashboard that is not the default they no longer have easy access to the default unless they add it as a favourite. I have faced exactly the same problem as you state of needing to share a longer message with every user. My solution was to use the combination of the dashboard functionality for the message but linked with a reference from the announcement banner.

In more detail I created a dashboard that is shared with all logged in users. Then taking note of the dashboard url something similar to <yourhost>/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=12345

I then add an announcement banner similar to the following.

Please see the important notice at <a href= <yourhost>/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=12345>here</a>
