Best Atlassian certification to do

Question

Hey guys,

I know that's not a technical query, but I really need input from the experts here.

My organization is going to reimburse the entire cost for one of the Atlassian certifications I do. So I want to be dead sure which is the best certification (no matter even if the hardest, I will study :) ) to apply for. Is ACP-100 (Jira Admin) better than any of the other Atlassian Jira certifications?

I'm only looking only for Jira certifications.

Many thanks in advance.

I agree with Nic's answer down below... it's difficult to advise you without knowing your existing skill set and what the expectations of your job role are. One more advice I can offer is to review all the Exam Topic guides for each exam and see which one resonates more.

More insights?  Yes and no.  More on a system level, less on a Jira-user level.  Agile admins - same answer, more in their role, less in the plain Jira area.

We can't tell you what is going to fit you best.  We cannot know what might be best for you (without a lengthy exposition of your role or what your role should be doing).

Jira admin is not a role you can do by rote, all your users, projects, roles and use-cases are different.

I am not sure we can help you a lot more here.  Unless you can tell us what the expected job description is.

Hi @Joanna Thurmann

Thanks for your response. Basically I'm myself working as a jira admin in my organization (not system admin). So, to more narrow down, do system admins got more insights and knowledge than jira admins. On the basis of this, I want to decide which one to pursue.

Thanks.
