How to export a single project from jira software

Hi All,

Our company require to migrate a single project from one jira software to another.

Actually I got some answer that is "export the whole jira and then import a single "

does anybody have any method that no need to export entire jira to implement this process

Project Configurator is an app for Jira that automates the process of manually copying projects and configurations from one Jira instance to another. It allows you to specify whether to export and import only specific project configurations or complete projects (configuration and data).

Select one or more projects from the Projects to Export drop-down list or, select the Export All Projects checkbox, to export all of your projects.

You have to take the complete back up, during the time of project import you can choose which project only you need to restore.

Does that mean, Atlassian does not have anything to Export Projects, which is free of charge and included but I have to pay for a Plugin, as Atlassian is not willing/capable?

@Christian Sprenger I would highly recommend to create a support enquiry for the same as this is quite an old thread. I still believe Project Configurator for Jira is the best way to go. You can always go for a trail to see if that meets your expectations.
