Editing restricted

Question

Hi

I need to make edits to a page in Confluence and am able to click on the Edit pencil icon, however, everything on the page is restricted - the top toolbar is disabled including the Publish button. I checked with my admin and he said I have the same permissions as anyone else in my company.

Please can you assist.

Thank you for testing, Sudhir. With that, we can confirm that is some specific configuration on your organization's laptop.

For now, we must wait for the bug to be fixed. Please, click on "This affects my team" and also watch the bug to receive future updates.

Hi Angélica

Thank you for the update. I have just tried in my personal Windows laptop and am able to edit the content without issues. The page loads with the "Publish" button in Blue.

Could you please assist.

Thanks

Sudhir

Thank you for the screenshots and details, Sudhir.

We believe that this issue might be related to a bug that currently is not possible to replicate, so it's still being investigated.

* Edit functions is grayed out in Confluence Cloud for certain users

As per the details you provided, you are using Windows on your organization's laptop, is that correct? Would it be possible to test using another Windows computer?

Maybe it's some specific configuration on your computer that is blocking the option to edit the page since it works normally on another computer.
