Jira Automation - Send an email with key of issue created.

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to create a cron rule, using Jira automatin and send an email with the issue key.

The creation is completed, the chron also and the email is sent but empty.

Step 1: working

When: Scheduled

every 0 17 11 ? * MON,TUE,WED,THU 2020

Step 2  Working:

Then: Create a new

Task in TEST Template (TEST)

Step 3

And: Send email

Name@domain.com

Subject:

{{issue.key}}teste teste teste
Hi {{reporter.displayName}}

We're now looking into your issue {{issue.summary}}.

We'll get back to you soon with an update.

The email received is:

teste teste teste
Hi

We're now looking into your issue .

We'll get back to you soon with an update.

should be:

TEST-222  teste teste teste

Hi @Humberto Gomes ,

Generally, actions in jira automation follow the trigger issue details. Since your trigger is not an specific issue and it's a cron job, it can't provide an issue key. You should use Branch rule and refer the action to the created issue.
