Incoming Email: HTML Formatting Problem

Howdy! I realize that Jira doesn't always handle HTML well but:  

• I am testing a service that will route requests into Jira. 
• In order to activate it properly, I need to verify that the email was received.
• The verification is getting sent the queue (so that I can click the "Verify" link)

Clearly Jira is struggling with the HTML formatting and has stripped out the URL to the verification link that I need to click.

Any method for retaining all HTML formats and prevent Jira from stripping out content?  I normally would not need HTML for most incoming requests.

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When the email contains HTML tables, it won't be rendered correctly in the description field. 

It's possible to change the renderer of the field to plain text (Classic projects only), but the description would be messy anyway.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

•  Improve HTML parsing for emails containing nested tables
