Hi,
I would like to add the Organizations field to a ticket screen, but it simply does not show up.
When we create a new ticket, the organization field is missing. Is there any way to make it visible?
Once you add an organization to your service desk and populate it with users it will automatically be added to the issue that one of the user in the organization creates an issue. A user can change their preferences so it does not default to an organization on issue create. This will make is so the organization field is not missing. If a user is not part of an organization then the field will not be visible.
Hi Brant,
At this point we have multiple organizations with users in it, but it still doesn't show the field. So to be clear;
Am i missing something?
I assume you've added the field in the create issue screen and that this is linked to the correct issuetype?
I'm not sure but maybe there's a test if you already have created organisations and/or customers.
Maybe this link can help https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-service-desk-evaluator-resources/jira-service-desk-customers-organizations-vs-atlassian-cloud-organizations
When you create the issue you need to use the raise a request feature. If you use the raise a request feature, which you should for service desk, you will see share with at the bottom of the request if the individual you are raising the request for is in an organization. See image below.
Hey @Yoda - Did you get this resolved?
