changing portal name

Question

Hi everyone!!!

I have this issue that I can't solve it.

We need to change the portal name for a project.

I have changed the name following the path project setting > details; and  project> portal configuration. But did not work. Nobody see the new name.

Did it happen to you?? how you solve it?

Hi Sergio!!!

You could change the portal name as Jack mentioned you can change it in:

If you want the portal view to change: project settings > portal settings > name

if you want the project name to change in the application: project settings > details > name

But please take into account the seccion "Language Support" under Customer permission in the project menu. Check if it has a different translation for the other language configured. It could be the reason why some customers are able to see the changes and not others

Can you tell me how it was solved? I have the same problem, I update the portal data and the customers still see the old ones.

Hi Jack!!!

For the first Item, I have changed them both with the new name and it is not show in the portal.

For the second Item, we followed the following steps

1. navigate to the project

2. select from menu Configuration

3. In Configuration menu, select Portal Configuration

4 in the right side of the screen it is shown Name field and under the name field the introduction Field

5 the user changed the introduction field with some other description

6. Click on save button

Result: when we access to the portal selecting the option generate new request, the introduction field shows the old text, not the new one
