How to link customer by e-Mail (CRM for Jira)

Question

We have the problem that with CRM for Jira we can search for customers, but we cannot search for any email addresses.

Our inquiries mainly come via email, that would be a relief.

We use Microsoft Dynamics as CRM. Does anyone know what it could be?

CRM for Jira fits our needs, but we don't understand why we can search by name, but not by email address.
