How can a field be displayed in the subtask list within task

In the subtasks there is a field that needs to be seen in the list of the task that contains the subtasks. How can it be done?

If you log in as an admin and go to Admin -> General Settings -> Advanced, then look for the property jira.table.cols.subtasks, you will find you can add columns to the sub-task display.

Be warned

It may do odd things if you add a custom field to it and later delete the field (although absolutely nothing damaging - mostly blank spaces and a broken column header)
You will end up with blank patches if you choose fields that are often empty
You can get custom fields in there by using customfield_nnnnn (not the field name, you need the id in the nnnnn part)
It is global - every issue in every project will display all the columns, even if the fields are not valid for the project (more blank space)

Hi Nic,

I have tried this solution and was to add a column to represent the component but any date field I try doesn't not appear. Any suggestions?

@[deleted]do you struggle only with adding the Date fields or all fields? Because I tried to add another custom fields or f.e. "component" field and it doesn't work. Just nothing changes
I'm so frustrated.
