Cannot see a trace of a commit.

Question

Hi,

I am new to BitBucket. On the 10th of March I made a commit on a new branch and pushed it to BitBucket using Segger Embedded Studio. I checked through the BitBucket web interface that the commit actually went to BitBucket and it did. I could see the commit and the new branch. Now, however, I cannot find a trace of either one. What possible newbie mistake could I have made? What could have happened? How do I prevent this from happening in the future?

Ah, never mind. It turns out that a colleague was too eager to delete unnecessary branches and deleted the branch by accident.
