we reach sometimes the point, that our jira-instance have a very high cpu-usage and a very slow system-performance.
I already opend a thread here with the same topic, but i think this thread is to old because there are no current views anymore. Thats the reason i open a new one.
We created some thread dumps of the last occurrence.

Hi Knut,
Did you disable the Structure plugin to see what effect that had? Or are you still using it?
Also, do you have a lot of Custom Fields? And are all of your custom fields mapped to a context that limits how they are used? We were getting TONS of 500 errors because we didn't have a context mapped for many of our custom fields.
I would start there to see if you see any improvement.

thx 4 your reply. No we have not disabled the structure-plugin because it is very important for us.
We have less than 30 custom fields. I dont think that that is a lot.

Are you 100% sure it is not Structure that is causing it?
How can i be 100% sure. I dont know it, but we already raised a support-ticket by the structure-support.
The result of the investigation of the structure support team reached out that the structure-plugin doesn’t seem to be the culprit in the performance problem.
