Need detailed explanation with Navigation.
Is this a instance of that workflow created or just a copy.
Editing the imported workflow will impact in all the projects?

You don't really "import" a workflow from one project to another. You just change the association between the project and which workflow scheme it uses. So,
1. Navigate to Project > Settings
2. Choose Workflows
3. Click on the Switch Scheme button near the top.
4. Choose the new Workflow Scheme you want to use/import for this Project.
5. Follow any prompts.
All Done!
i have a team managed project and company managed project.
i m trying to import the workflow i created in Team managed project into Company managed project.
However, i dont see that workflow for me to complete the association
No, you will not be able to do that. Team-managed projects are completely independent.

I am using JIRA Software cloud version, and not able to import the workflow from one project already created.
