How can I change the user/person that created a JIRA Service Desk project

In the documentation for "Advanced automation rule options" it says:

Run rule as

By default, rules run as the person who created the project. Alternatively, you can run rules as the user who triggers the rule. For example, if a rule responds to a customer, then you might want the comment to be from the agent who is working on the request, not from the

 

My colleague who originally created our JIRA Service Desk project is no longer with the company and I need to change the name/person to an active user.

How do I do this?

Hi @Kresten Kodal Sørensen 

Someone (ideally an administrator) needs to open the Jira Service Desk Project and do the following: 

1. Click Project Settings.
2. Click Details.
3. Change the Project Lead to someone else. 
4. Click Save Details.

Then go to Automation and do the following: 

1. Click the rules icon (two horizontal lines with switches) at the top next to Add Rule. 
2. Select the Project Lead name used in step 3 above.
3. Click Save. 

Now all enabled automation rules will run as that person.
