'GET' '<a href="https://infostroy.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label=stress" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://infostroy.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label=stress</a>'

gives me  HTTP Status: 200 "OK", while

'GET' '<a href="https://infostroy.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label=%D1%81%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%81" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://infostroy.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label=стресс</a>'

results in HTTP Status: 400 "Bad Request"

the same for

'GET' '<a href="https://infostroy.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label=стрес&#1089" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://infostroy.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label=стрес&#1089</a>;'

Hello Alexey,

Thank you for raising this with us.

Could you try including double quotes around your Cyrillic text? For example:

<span>'GET' 'https://YOUR-SITE.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=label="&#1089;&#1090;&#1088;&#1077;&#1089;&#1089;"'</span>

Let me know how that goes.

First of all, there is no problem with Cyrillic text search in Confluence REST API.

My problem was the search query specification for the utility I use to manage HTTP communications. Some parameters of the utility are a bit tricky, especially those dealing with all sorts of ANSI-Unicode encoding/decoding.

Finally, with a little help from the utility developers, I’ve got everything working.
