Project creation permissions

Hello everybody,

i wonder if there is a constrain in Jira in order to allow to some users to create some kind of projects: create software projects but no service desk project for instance.

Not out the box; if the user has permission to create projects they can create all kinds.

You can expand who can create projects though with apps such as:

* Project Creator: Where approvals can be set for Admins to verify
* Easy Project Creator: Which can be limited for users per project template type
