How to create Users/groups in Jira using REST API

Hi All,

I am trying to create Users/groups in JIRA 8.4.2 using REST API by writing powershell scripts.

 

Could you please provide entire script for creating users/groups via rest api or provide steps to write scripts?

 

Any help will be much appreciated
