When I mark a issue as complete that is in a sprint and the sprint is over why does it keep moving to the next sprint? The issue that are in the issue are complete and everything on the board is mapped correctly. PLEASE HELP

When you say "mark issue as complete" do you move the issue to the right-most column of the active sprint board?
Because for the sprint board an issue is complete only when it moves to the right-most column of the board and if that's not the case then it will automatically move to the backlog and will still be considered undone.
